Introducing...
The Wrong Rights are a 5-piece band formed in early May of 2008 and four of the five members are ex-KHSSC students. Guitarist Chris Sidaway, drummer Aaron Snowdon, bassist Connor Bailey and newest member Susie Atkinson on keyboard provide the backing for singer Geena Colombo (from Airedale High School). Chris, Connor and Susanna all took GCSE music here at KHSSC and past with flying colours, contributing to the highest ever GCSE results for the school.
The band can be found quite often playing at The Loft (Xscape) and have already played with up-and-coming bands The Golden Silvers and The Ryes. They write and record original material which can be found on their Myspace (*unavaliable on school computers).
Definately one to watch for the future.
Reviews
The Wakefield Guardian:
"I had a chat with The Wrong Rights...
Together they make a good sound, not too loud, just right.
They do play covers such as Hit Me With Your Best Shot and Kiss Me, But on the night they sang their own compositions.
Look out for The Wrong Rights"
Will From The Antix:
"The Wrong Rights are the best thing to come out knottingley EVER. and theyre amazing. i love them."
